Atkins Plan - for Eating
The basic Atkins Plan below is for those with a huge appetite. You
can freely add more or less meat, eggs, and hard cheeses at a meal and in
snacks on the Atkins diet. Water is the absolute staple of any food plans
that are out there including the Atkins plans. It is recommended that while
you are on Atkins you drink at least 64 ounces of water. On the Atkins food
plan you can drink decaffeinated tea, coffee, soda water, and Splenda
sweetened soft drinks are all acceptable beverages on Atkins plans.
In this article, a one-day sample Atkins menu is listed. This Atkins diet
menu is, for someone with a huge appetite. For the Atkins breakfast three
eggs scrambled with cream, 4-6 slices of bacon, and coffee with Splenda and
cream. On the Atkins diet, for lunch is Chicken Salad ( 6oz. grilled
chicken, 1T of Romano Cheese, 2 cups of dark salad greens, 2 T of Ranch
Dressing, 1chopped hard boiled egg).
An Atkins dinner consists of a fish fry (fish fillets dipped in egg and
coated with whey protein fried in vegetable oil), 1 cup of salad greens, 1/4
medium tomato, 1 thin slice red onion, 1 cup of broccoli rabe with butter.
This Atkins food plan is a lot of food. Planning your menu will you be able
to stick to the Atkins plan.
As indicated at the beginning of this article Atkins diet, you can adjust
the amount of meat, eggs and hard cheeses at a meal or for snacks. The
Atkins diet goes against everything most of us have ever been taught as far
as nutrition and healthy eating. As always check with your physician before
you start any diet or exercise plan. The Atkins diet plan can work if you
are consistent adhering to the Atkins way of eating.
